NB: This performance will begin at 10pm sharp. Latecomers will not be admitted once the performance has commenced.
Hession will be singing three traditional songs within the Catalyst Arts Gallery. He will be accompanied by the amplified sounds of film SLR’s, mobile phones and the uillean pipes.
Born in Omagh in 1978. Phil Hession graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the University of Ulster in 2001. Since then he has consistently exhibited video works and made performances, including: Tempus Fugit, September 2009 (Video), Berliner Liste, Berlin, Germany; Bringing the yearlings home, September 2008 (Performance), Claremorris Open Exhibition, Mayo, Ireland; ….a stranger I came, May 2008 (Performance), Vstop Prost, Celje, Slovenia and ….night ramblin’ and sportin’…., October 2007 (Video), PSsquared Gallery, Belfast.
